About Colin
Image creator Colin Husband is an accomplished photographer and painter. Initially trained as an industrial designer, Colin has for over four decades owned a large photographic studio in Sydney. He how splits his time between Sydney and the NSW Central Coast where he shares a bush block with his partner Jojo that is lorded over by a bolshy wallaby and voracious black cockatoos.
As a commercial photographer Colin has worked for a diverse range of agency and direct clients, many of them household names. Although now no longer tied to a specific studio, Colin continues to work as a commercial photographer and welcomes the opportunity to talk about new projects.
As an artist, Colin's work is included in the Fuji/ACMP collection at the Art Gallery of NSW and Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery. He has been an Archibald finalists, a finalist many times in the Gosford Art Prize, winner of the Outback Art Prize and has participated in many group exhibitions, including Mosman Regional Art Gallery's 2088 exhibitions.
